Still life with pears

Not a postcard again today, but another painting for the exhibition in the church of Persingen (near Nijmegen, Holland). This painting was based on an older one I got back from a gallery. I decided to refine it a bit and improve the colors and contrasts. Though I didn't have the exact same pears anymore, I was able to buy some similar ones so I could work 'after nature'. The painting will be on display in Persingen, the last weekend of june...
